Kwanzaa is an annual celebration of African-American culture from December 26 to January 1, culminating in a communal feast called Karamu, usually on the sixth day. Kwanzaa was created in 1966 by Maulana Ron Karenga to celebrate history, values, family, community and culture. SOUTHWEST AIRLINES & MAKE-A-WISH MAKE EWAN'S DREAM COME TRUE! Chamber member, @southwestair teamed up with Make-A-Wish Orange County and the Inland Empire to grant Ewan's wish of becoming a Southwest pilot at LAX. Ewan, age 16, received a full day experience behind the scenes at LAX, which included a tour of California One aircraft; an LAX airfield tour; meetings with Southwest pilots' ride along with LA Fire Department at LAX; and a tour of LAX's air traffic control tower.
